JARED NELSON

Jared is an American actor, director, and acting coach. He recently completed a Master's degree in Acting at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Previous directing credits include 9mm of Love (Philadelphia Fringe), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Villanova University), Top Girls (Vasey Theatre), Picnic (Degenstein Mainstage), and Words, Words, Words (Degenstein Studio).

Mag's recent work includes a short, devised piece in association with Frantic Assembly ‘I remember’ (Lyric Hammersmith) and as a continuation of the project Mag has devised and directed a site-specific show based on her research called ‘I wonder’ (Polish YMCA, kitchen space, 2017). 

Mag directed for Shorts At The Canal 'Boiling Frog' by Selina Armoudon performed in Cafe Canal and The Union Theatre (2018).

Presently, translating and directing Olivia’s Negrean play 'FEAST Women’s Appetite for Shakespeare (in one cooking)' for the polish premiere in Warsaw due October 2018.

At the heart of Mag’s practice is collaboration.

MAGDALENA SZCZYGIELSKA

Daughter, fiancée, big sister, little sister, theatre practitioner trained in Warsaw (BA and MA in Acting, 2009 - 2014), curious researcher, MA Collaborative Theatre Making graduate (2017), and a PhD candidate at the Film Theatre and Television Department at University of Reading where she looks at intersection of theatre, food and identity storytelling.

ERICK HAYDEN

Directing: Grand Canyon

​Erick Hayden is an actor/director from Alaska. He has directed numerous shorts as well as 5 full length plays including Harold & Maude, Anton in Show Business and Almost, Alaska (formerly Almost, Maine by John Capriani). He has also appeared in films such as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Spectre, The Gunman and various independent films.

ALIX AUSTIN

Directing: Interventions

is a Royal Conservatoire of Scotland BA Acting Alum (formerly RSAMD), Alix has directed Theatre and Film productions alike.

From productions at Glasgow's On the Verge festival to creating short film True Value starring Red Madrell (Kidulthood, Skins), Alix has had a wide variety experience and enjoys all things genre.  www.lonelarafilms.com

Alex is an Off West End Award nominated theatre director and writer based in London.

Directing: The Red Light and Dirty Laundry

ALEX HOWARTH

His company's devised play We Live By the Sea opened the Brits Off Broadway season at 59E59 Theatres in New York  this year, where it was Critic's Pick in the New York Times.   It was nominated for a Fringe First and Off West End Awards for Best Ensemble and Best Production, ran at the SoHo Playhouse Off-Broadway, and won Best Theatre, Critics Choice, and Peace Foundation Awards and was in the Top 6 Shows To See in The Guardian during two seasons at Adelaide Festival.

He regularly leads research and development periods for new writing and recently workshopped new play with

music 'When We Ran' which opened at the Pleasance.

He co-directed pantomime 'Snow White' at the 1200 seat Hexagon Theatre in Reading, and adapted and directed the World Stage Premiere of 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape'.  He regularly directs at drama schools including Mountview, Liverpool Theatre School, and Identity School of Acting.  He has  worked across the UK in venues including The Arcola, Salisbury Playhouse, The Cheltenham Everyman, Theatre 503, The New Wimbledon Theatre, and The Pleasance, and also works as an assistant director, most recently to Olivier Award winner David Thacker at The Octagon Theatre, Bolton. He is the Artistic Director of Patch of Blue, who create devised theatre pieces with live music for festivals and touring. He has worked extensively in disabilities theatre, having created performances with deafblind adults for the charity Sense.
